How it Works

Buying at Auction

If you intend to bid at our auctions first you must register on the sale day and obtain a bidding number. You can view all items from 9.00am on the day of the sale. You can then bid in person at the auction or you can leave a ‘commission bid’ and we will bid on your behalf up to your maximum. All items purchased must be paid for and taken on the day of the sale unless prior arrangements have been agreed. At this stage we can only accept payment by bank transfer, cash or cheque (if you are known to us). There is a buyer’s premium on all lots of 15% of the hammer price.

Selling at Auction

Selling your items could not be easier – just choose from the following options:

• Telephone or e-mail to arrange a convenient time for delivering your items.

• Simply bring your items along to Rangeworthy Village Hall between 8am and 1pm on the day prior to the auction.

Our rate of commission for sellers is a fee of 0% with a lotting fee of £2.
